A three day conference, Innovating Nation, was held in Edinburgh on 21 to 23 February 2007.

The key issues and challenges facing Innovation in Scotland were addressed when those with an interest in innovation came together to discuss examples of practical innovation projects supported by the Scottish Innovative Actions Programme.

Around 200 delegates from across Scotland attended. This provided an opportunity to discuss individual projects supported and their outcomes, to look to the future of innovation policy, but most of all to meet with like-minded innovation practitioners, form new contacts and networks and carry on the process of maintaining Scotland as an Innovating Nation.
